Where to get help
- Run by the province, the Gambling Support BC line at 1-888-795-6111 is free, confidential and staffed 24/7. Its website is gamblingsupportbc.ca.
- Game Break, the voluntary B.C. self-exclusion program, enrols people in person at any casino or bingo hall against government-issued photo ID. Whichever length is picked (3 years, 6 months, 2 years or 1 year) stays fixed and covers PlayNow.com for an equal period.
- A GameSense Info Centre operates inside Treasure Cove Casino & Bingo, 2003 Highway 97 South.
- The same line, 1-888-795-6111, also takes calls at any hour from people hurt by a loved one's gambling. The call is free and confidential.
Setting a limit before the visit
Set the money limit and the end time before leaving home, and write both down. Carry only that sum in cash, and keep bank and credit cards at home. A break every hour, away from the floor, gives a moment to check the plan against the clock. With hours of 9 AM to 2 AM, an end time set well ahead of closing is simpler to hold. Entry is for guests aged 19 or older.

The 16/97 field desk
The 16/97 field desk writes the Field Sheet and signs it as a collective. The name comes from the two highways that meet at the casino. The site names no author, and no page bears an individual byline.
The Field Sheet uses two kinds of pictures. The logging truck on a snowy highway and the sawmill yard are invented photo-like scenes made by image-generation software. The same software made the drawings of the casino, the bingo hall, the slot floor, the entrance canopy and the attached hotel from real photographs. Each changes the viewpoint, season or hour, so the places look as they do but the pictures are drawings, not photographs. No people or cars appear in any picture.
The check of facts took place on October 4, 2026. It drew on the casino's own pages, the attached hotel's page, BCLC and the Government of British Columbia. Each page shows that date. Each distance is measured from the casino's map point as a straight line between two sets of coordinates. Roads run longer than these lines.
Every hour is Prince George local time. Since March 8, 2026, Pacific time has been UTC-7 all year, because British Columbia stopped changing its clocks. No sign-ups, comments or forms here. Visits are counted cookie-free, yet an outside tool gets your network address and browser details. Theme colour may stay in browser storage.
Questions from the field
Is the help line open at night?
Gambling Support BC answers 1-888-795-6111 24/7, nights included. Anyone in British Columbia can call, at no charge and in confidence.
How long can Game Break last?
Four term lengths are offered: 6 months, plus 1, 2 and 3 years. The chosen length cannot be altered, and a term set at a casino blocks PlayNow.com access for that same stretch.
Who writes the Field Sheet?
The 16/97 field desk writes it and signs it collectively, a name taken from the two highways at the casino. No author name appears on the site, and none of its pages has a personal byline.
